We alert you today of a single mother of two children that is facing eviction. She has been in education for over 20 years and became unemployed in June. Because she is a teacher, it was hard for her to regain employment before the start of the new school year in August. She was able to pay her June rent with savings, but has been unable to pay July rent. She has secured employment and needs help paying her rent that was due in July. We have looked at her budget and she will be able to catch up her August rent in the next week or two.
She is turned to her local church for help, but they are closing their doors. She is now without a local church home and reached out to one of our church partners for help. We would like to help her get caught up on her rent and connect her with our local church partner.
