We alert you of a family facing eviction this Friday at 1pm. The husband/father is a chef and was working days while the wife/mother attended cosmetology school during the day. The 3 children were being cared for by their aunt. However, the aunt was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer manage watching the kids.

The couple was faced with a tough decision. The wife could quit school and that would slow their future ability to provide for their family, or the husband could look for work at night. They made the decision to have the husband change jobs and work nights. However, he was forced to be out of work for 2 weeks as a result and then go through training. They really thought they could pull it off, but miscalculated the loss of income and it’s impact on their lives.

Now they are facing eviction and we are reasonably certain that they will be stable if we can help them avoid this eviction. They have never faced eviction before and are connected with our local church partner. They are also working with one of our area experts on family finance and budgeting.

We would like to help them avoid an evection and the long lasting effects it can have on a family’s stability.
