Need Alert 19.17 – Single Woman Battling Breast Cancer – Goal Met!

We alert you this morning to a single woman in her early 50’s that is battling breast cancer. She is a painter and has a long history of providing for herself. In September of 2018, she fell off a ladder while working and shattered both wrists. She was out of work for several months but was able to keep things together. In January of this year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is undergoing chemotherapy and surgery is scheduled for approximately six weeks from now. She does not receive any assistance from the government, and the injury and cancer have dramatically reduced her ability to work. We want to give her $2,500 to help her through the next few months of her treatment and then surgery. As always, the financial relief will be provided to her through our local church partner. They will continue to provide a community to her through her time of need and communicate with us about any needs going forward.
