We alert you today of a 75 year old widow thats home has been flooded due to a plumbing issue. In January of this year her husband of 56 years passed away. She does have some family around her, but she has been struggling financially, as well as with anxiety, since her husband passed away. She has been able to make ends meet until she ran into the plumbing issue last week.
Last Sunday her home was flooded and she is now living with carpets rolled up and soaked hardwood floors. The insurance adjuster has been to the home and they are ready to get the repairs done. However, she does not have the money to pay the insurance deductible. She is on a fixed income and without help, she will not be able to pay the deductible in the near future. We are concerned about the water causing more issues like mold and further complicating the problem.
We would like to help her with her deductible so that she can get her home repaired properly.
