Story

We alert you today of a single mother of two that has been forced to move out of two different rental homes in less than ten months. It all began when she was asked to vacate her rental home on 30 days notice because her landlord was selling the property. She made the move to rent from a friend and everything was fine until 9 months later when the friend/landlord needed family members to move in and gave her 24 days to move out of her unit. During the same timeframe, this single mother was in a car accident that cost her over $1,000.

The woman is very closely connected with one of our local church partners and was in real danger of becoming homeless. She has secured housing and is currently working 2 jobs to try to stabilize her living situation. Both of her children need to start school in the new school districts and we would like to help this hard-working single mother get settled. We are confident that she can provide for herself and the two children moving forward.
