We alert you of a mother of two (5 and 13 year old girls) that has fled her violent husband. After years of abuse she fled her abusive husband in September of this year. She was awarded a restraining order from the husband and as a result he has refused to help her or the children financially or in any other way. Over the past three months this mother and school teacher has secured a second job and been able to put a budget together that will work going forward. However, she is behind on her mortgage for the past two months and needs some help. I realize that this is the second straight montage need this week, but we do not have a script for Need Alerts. We simply alert all Needs as they come to us and are appropriate to be alerted.

We would like to help her get current with her mortgage and are very confident she can sustain herself and her children moving forward, with or without the help of the abusive husband and father. On a side note, they have a court hearing today to determine child support and custody terms. Please keep this family in your payers.
