We alert you today to a very hard working single mother of 8-year-old twin girls. One month ago she began having her hours at work cut due to some changes in her company. She started looking for a new job and secured a new position making $4 more per hour. She gave her two-week notice with the intention of honoring her commitment to her company. The company cut all of her hours immediately. She could not begin her new position for two weeks, and this left her without income after having her hours cut for several weeks prior. This employment interruption has left her unable to pay her rent. The rent must be paid by tomorrow to avoid eviction. We want to help her with her $750 rent payment.
