Story

Good Morning.

We alert you today of a high school senior in need of a little help before she graduates in May. She, along with her father, have been members of one of our local church partner churches for 6 years.

She lost her mother in 2008 and her father is on disability due to neck and back issues. She has been accepted into Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA for the fall semester and is on the right track. She is a member of her high school winter guard and her father has not been able to pay the remaining $309 balance left on her account for this extracurricular activity. He is on a fixed income due to his medical condition and will not have the needed funds by May.

The school is saying that the balance needs to be paid before her graduation, but has not been specific about any repercussions resulting from non-payment (if any). Obviously this is not life or death, but it is causing some real stress on this young girl during what should be a very happy time. She is doing so many of the right things and we want to offer encouragement by eliminating this debt for her. We want to help her with this need.
