We alert you today of a very hard working single mother that is short on her rent. This is really a case of her still being in the process of becoming financially stable. Eighteen months ago she worked her way out of Section 8 housing and has been financially steady up until recently. She works full-time and is also very involved in serving at one of our local church partners. She simply has not been able to build a financial buffer to provide any margin for unexpected expenses.

She had to help her son that is in prison, her daughter that is taking the SAT exam, and then she got a speeding ticket. All of the expenses hit at the same time and sent her finances into a tailspin. We are working with her to ensure that she is on a path that will help her deal with these types of things in the future, but right now she is short on her rent and really could use a break. We would like to help with her rent.
