Story

Happy Friday!

We alert you for the third, and final, time this week of a family that is in need. Earlier in the year this wonderful family took in a homeless family for 4 months. Even though they were barely getting by themselves, they sacrificially gave up their privacy, their money and their time to be there for this family in need.

Here is where the perfect storm of issues has collided….

Both the mother and father work full time. However, the husband works at a start up company and funding has become an issue. This is normal at start ups, but the timing on this one is really tough. He has been paid sporadically and is now owed a full month of  pay. At the same time, the homeless family has moved out on their own. However, as a result of having so many people in the home their utility bills are astronomical. When we combine that with a dwindled savings account from helping this homeless family it has become a real issue.

So in nutshell…they spent their savings helping this family, the family has recovered and moved out, there are gigantic utility bills, while the husband has been missing paychecks.

This family is very active in the community and when all these issues are not colliding, they are very stable.  We would like to help them in this time of need. We would like to be the church to them and rally around them with support.
