We are working with a victim of domestic violence that needs a partial for her two front teeth. Her husband abused her and during that abuse punched her so hard that it broke her front teeth. She has had the teeth extracted and now needs a partial to complete the process.
She is a member of one of our local church partners and she works full time. She has been paying for dental insurance, but it only covers $1000 lifetime benefit. (We are working with her to get better insurance)
She currently is missing her front two teeth because she can not afford the partial. She told me that she loves to smile, but the gap in her teeth has made her really insecure.
