We alert you today of a refugee family that is deeply connected with one of our local church partners. The parents converted to Christianity from the Muslim faith. The mother/wife was attacked and beaten in their hometown in Pakistan for her faith. They are dedicated Christ followers and were able to secure a spot in a government-run program for refugees fleeing religious persecution. They have been in the U.S. for three months and the father has secured employment and is working daily. Their savings are gone, but they are very close to becoming stable. As you can imagine the transition has been very hard, however they have proven that they are working extremely hard to set up their new lives here.  We are confident if we can help them with their rent this month that they will be able to sustain themselves moving forward.

We would like to provide them with their rent for the month of August in the amount of $850.
